What is Open Labs?
Open Labs is TU Dublin’s pioneering SME collaborative research initiative, started in February 2018 by TU Dublin Hothouse, which has helped over 150 SME’s and start-ups to innovate and develop new products, processes and services, generating over Eur1.6m in research income. Open Labs removes the perceived barriers facing SMEs and start-ups when participating in early-stage research and innovation by providing access to over 600 TU Dublin researchers and world-leading facilities in a number of critical high-tech sectors: Biosensor Technologies, Data Analysis for Business & Artificial Intelligence, Food Innovation, Innovative Surface Coatings, Product Prototyping, Sustainable Infrastructure, Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality and Cyber Security (New Offering in Q3)
