11.20:         eDIGIREGION Call for Innovative Concepts

A series of pitches in response to the call for innovative ICT-related concepts, organised by the eDIGIREGION project.  The call for concepts is an opportunity for promoters to pitch their concept to an adjudication panel. The selected concept will represent the South-East Ireland region at the eDIGIREGION International Conference in Bucharest where the promoter will receive intensive development and commercialisation support. The support programme will be delivered by a team of international experts, each a specialist in the commercialisation process (including market analysis, product development, business models, funding etc.)

Pitching for Funding – A Practical Approach

A practical and interactive session on the art of pitching for investment, with insights from Patrick O’Callaghan, Co-founder of Treybro (www.treybro.com), an entrepreneur who has raised funding, from Aidan Shine of the Halo Business Angel Network and Niall Olden of Kernel Capital.  The session also includesan interactive ‘fireside chat’ style Q&A session enabling participants to  gain insights on how best to approach pitching for investment.
