Enterprise Ireland in partnership with the Health Services Executive will hold a briefing event for the SBIR Diabetes Challenge which launched in December 2018. The challenge will be live on eTenders until February 22nd2019.
This challenge seeks innovative solutions to help diabetes patients avoid developing typical complications associated with the disease and to receive appropriate care at an earlier stage when complications arise. This challenge will specifically target two areas: reducing the risk of women developing Type 2 diabetes following gestational diabetes and screening for diabetic foot disease in all patients with diabetes.
At this briefing event you will get an opportunity to hear from the Challenge Owners, the HSE Clinicians and Enterprise Ireland, and answer any questions you may have on the challenge and the SBIR process.
